Pixmax was recently featured on Busan MBC News in its coverage of the 10th Busan Global Webtoon Festival, held at the Busan Cultural Content Complex from October 30 to November 1.
Ten years in, the festival is more than a showcase. Busan is building a real webtoon industry, with artist support programs, the Busan Global Webtoon Center, and a special exhibition of standout works from the past nine years. Artists from seven countries, including Belgium and Scotland, joined this year’s edition.
For Pixmax, the highlight was seeing webtoon stories come alive as AI-powered motion videos. Visuals we supplied appeared in the broadcast, turning still panels into cinematic scenes.
